Gates open at 6:15pm where there will be free swimming available, jumping castle and magician until 7:15pm. Sausage sizzle and refreshments will be available for purchase. Entertainment for the evening:

QUEENSLAND DOMINATES OLYMPIC SYNCHRO TEAM |
Queensland has shown it is a force in Australian Synchronized Swimming with the 9 member team consisting of 8 Queensland swimmers. This is an outstanding achievement and congratulations to all Queensland swimmers, coaches, clubs and the state organisation on achieving this. A very special thank you and congratulations to Marina Kholod. Marina is the coach of all 8 swimmers and the Australian National Assistant Coach who has prepared the girls for their selection to the Olympic team. The Duet is Eloise Amberger and Sarah Bombell, coached by Marina Kholod. These girls brought home a Bronze medal from the 2010 Delhi Commonwealth Games and will do Queensland and Australia proud at the 2011 London Olympics. Go Australia!! Go Queensland!! |

AUSTRALIA HAS QUALIFIED FOR THE 2012 LONDON OLYMPICS Australia has qualified for the 2012 London Olympics at the Oceania Olympic Qualification event held at the FINA World Championships in Shanghai, China. Congratulations for the Australian team dominated by Queensland swimmers, who have secured a berth in the Team and Duet events at the 2012 London Olympics. The Australian Team at the FINA World Championships were:
