Position Vacant - coach

Neptunes, Albany Creek, Queensland, Australia

Neptunes synchronised swimming club has been operating for 16 years, training young girls into experienced swimmers. We are a close, friendly group of mostly parents that love watching our group develop skills and friendships in a supportive team.
After many years of dedicated service, our coaches are retiring. We need a part-time coach in 2011 to continue developing our keen group of young swimmers. You will need to be accredited to coach (or willing to gain accreditation immediately), and will be working with the support of the national association, our parent-committee and the participants. Your role will be to plan and deliver the synchronised swimming programme to a group of about 15 swimmers, ranging in age and experience. Some are more focused on fun and basic skills, while others are preparing for state and national competition. This will involve two weekly sessions (more around competition times); attending state and national competitions; developing choreography of program; and selecting costumes.
If you are a synchronised swimming coach, and you’re interested in finding out more, our team needs you! We’d love to hear from you. We can provide a competitive salary, and a job description is available on request.
